The Mihalko family has been in the portrait photography business since the late 1950’s. Bob’s Father, David started Contemporary Photography Studio in Medina in 1971 and Bob has been working in the business since 1986 (officially anyway, he has been developing pictures since he was a small child in the 70’s). In 2007 Bob opened Robert Gary Photography then specializing in mostly wedding photography. In May of 2008 Bob acquired the Contemporary Photography Studio name from his father and looks forward to continuing to provide Medina County and surrounding areas with fine portraits for many years to come.

CPS/RGP is a very LOW VOLUME photography studio. I only work with a few clients a week, Our clients become part of our family. I strive to create images that you will treasure for a lifetime and for generations to come. I guarantee all of my work and only use the finest professional labs and products in the Nation. When creating a portrait that is of generational value I just can’t take chances with Ink Jet prints that have only been on the market for a few years. The equipment my images are produced on cost 100’s of thousands of dollars, and is printed by professionals that do nothing but produce beautiful photographic prints for a living. The finest papers and balanced chemicals ensure long lasting quality and the best depth of color saturation in your photographs. This is why I can stand behind my work; I produce only quality products from start to finish!

Keeping up with the times is equally important! For this reason we are constantly attending seminars and continuing education programs in our industry. By keeping up with the times we will provide our clients with the best of tradition and Contemporary photographic practices.
